Philosophy Statement
What I believe about learning ~
This is a relatively abbreviated philosophy statement, as I consider it a work in progress - one that is constantly changing.
It has always been my belief that people should never stop learning, whether or not they participate in this learning formally is up to them. It is my hope that I can make this learning meaningful and relevent to those who desire to use learning as a way to become better in the corporate realm - better communicators, better managers, better trainers, better leaders.
One of the challenges, and benefits, of this program has been to find a way to use best practices in instructional design while still meeting the demands of the workplace. I strive to strike a realistic balance between theory and practice, between perfect world and real world. My ultimate goal is to find a way to blend the two such that each world sees the benefits of the other.
